Hi there,

Just a suggestion to add a way for teachers to click a check box for an assignment stating that it is completed instead of having to enter a grade in. For some of the assignments that do not have a grade attached (or returned permission forms), it would be nice to check off a box in the column to show that it was submitted. Or if you can enter a code to say it was complete.

For Percentage or Letter Grade classes, clicking Enter beside the student's name in the Grade column provides access to the Override Student Grade field.



Enter the text that describes the student's grade in the field, and it will appear as entered in all reports across Simplegradebook.



For Performance Scale classes the process is the same, but the IE grade is accessed from the grade dropdown as shown below.  Note: the IE grade will only be available when the BC Standard performance scale is selected in the class settings.



In both cases, the IE grade will now appear on reports as shown below:

Any Simplegradebook user can delete their account.  Just log in, and go to the My Simplegradebook link on the main menu and click on Profile.  Near the bottom of the Profile page, there is a button to click that will delete your account.

When you click the delete button, you will be asked to confirm that you wish to delete your account.

When a student or parent account is deleted, all the information about the user is deleted, including messages sent to teachers from that account, but the grades associated with the student or students that were linked to the user account are not deleted.

If we could add more Assignment Categories we could make it work with the new BC Curricular Competencies.  Assignments could then be separated by Assignment Category to show grade per category. 

There should be a feature to see students performance from a graph.

Firstly thank you for making the website

My students are trying to register and it worked for all except two. I double and triple checked the access code and it still is coming up as accesscode is incorrect. They are trying to register on a computer rather than a phone as their phones are too new for the app. Is there a way if I have their username that I can assign them into the class?

Simplegradebook allows students to see their grades through any browser or through the Simplegradebook mobile apps for IOS and Android.

To give students access to their grades, they need the secret code which is automatically assigned to them when they are added to a class.  Students must also create student accounts on Simplegradebook. When they first log in they are asked to enter the code, and they should then see their classes.

These codes are found on the Students tab available from the main Classes display.  These can be printed and given to the student, or emailed to them.  The latter is preferable as it is common for students to make mistakes when entering the codes.

Note that if the teacher has joined a Simplegradebook school, students only need to be given one code and they should see all their classes.  Otherwise the students need to be given a code for each class.

Please add the option to have more letter grades in a column, I dont have enough for my curriculum. Thanks.

Just letting you know that a couple of students have come to me today saying that their classes are not showing up on Simplegradebook anymore.  Both students told me that they had seen their marks earlier in the day, but not now.  Charlotte Bell and Sophia Morton are the students.

Ever since my password expired, I have been having an issue after viewing the assignment list in my classes.
By 'assignment list' I mean the list of all the assignments that comes up when I click on the 'Assignments' button and all the assignments for the course appear (with dates, scaling, whether or not they are hidden, etc).
Any time I go into that assignment list and then hit the finished button (or any button to leave the screen) it kicks me out saying my password is invalid or expired.  I can log back in fine, and do everything else, but I cannot use that Assignments screen (it does not save anything I do when it kicks me out).
