Title: How Do I Enter Students Into a Class?
Post by: TimDaniel on March 01, 2014, 09:52:34 PM
Step 1 - For the class you want to enter, select Students->Edit Students

Step 2 - Enter the student information or paste a list of students into the box provided.  The syntax is:

firstname lastname studentnumber

For example:

Susan Field 324354

Multiple and hyphenated first and last names are permitted.

Examples:

In a previous version of this message, a restriction on entering names with apostrophes (eg. O'Malley) was noted.  That restriction has been removed.

For international students with a chosen name, enter the names as follows:

Joyce -Mingyuan Wang 436587

This will be stored in the database as:

Firstname: Joyce (Mingyuan)
Lastname: Wang
Student Number: 436587
